I’ve been playing an Elf Druid, Mildur, for two months or so now. His diety is Aerdrie. I wanted him to be an “Elf first” and so he’s been using a Longbow. He recently acquired another Elven weapon, an enchanted Longsword. He almost immediately ran across a druid of long standing on the server and it was suggested by him that I contact a DM to see how far I can push this “Elf first” concept. Since this meeting, Mildur has put away his longbow and longsword and has reverted to druid weapons. So, is there any way Mildur can be an “Elf first” and use either of these Elven weapons? Perhaps a change in diety? Any other possibilities? Thanks in advance.

Switching the deity to Mielikki could work (at least mechanically speaking since you're switching for a human deity).

Mielikki sounds like the perfect solution. Mildur's alignment is chaotic neutral. From what I've read it's not clear to me whether Mielikki can support his alignment. If she can then I'd like to apply for a diety switch for Mildur. If the diety swap is not possible then.....well I'll just have to cross that bridge when I come to it Smile Again, thanks in advance for your help.

Great; problem solved! So, can I take it that you'll be getting around to updating Mildur with that diety swap from Aerdrie to Mielikki one of these fine days? If so then I'll wait till I hear back from you that it's done before Mildur begins to wielding his longsword and longbow once again.

This has to be done in-game. Try contacting a DM through the DM channel.
